Buying Guide
Choosing the right budget arrow rest involves aligning the model with your bow type, shooting style, and maintenance preferences. Brush-style rests provide solid containment and quiet loading, making them versatile for hunting and practice. Drop-away rests offer improved clearance on compound bows but may require more careful tuning. Adhesive-backed or traditional fur rests deliver quick installations for recurves but may be less adjustable. Consider compatibility with your arrow size, typical arrow weight, and how much you value adjustability, noise reduction, and ease of maintenance.
- Arrow-rest type: brush/capture vs. drop-away vs. adhesive-backed
- Bow compatibility: recurve vs. compound or both
- Material and durability: aluminum, metal, fur, or plastic
- Adjustability: windage and elevation; ease of tuning
